Meeting of the BelCCI Committee on Exhibition and Fair Activities

A meeting of the Сommittee on Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities was held at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Senior executives and specialists in the field of international exhibition activities from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Sports, some concerns and interested organizations gathered to discuss promising and problematic issues in exhibition and fair activities – primarily, at foreign venues.

Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov spoke about the geography of national exhibitions (expositions) in foreign countries, as well as innovations in the organization of these exhibitions.

The head of the BelCCI briefed the process of preparation for the national pavilion of Belarus at VDNH in Moscow to be opened within the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" in early November.

In his speech, Deputy Director of the exhibition unitary enterprise "Belinterexpo" Andrei Shakhanovich touched upon the problematic issues of organizing national expositions and exhibitions of Belarusian manufacturers, collected based on the results of events held this year.
