Meeting with senior executives of Heilongjiang Province business associations, PRC

A meeting was held at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry between Deputy Chairman of BelCCI Denis Meleshkin and a delegation from Heilongjiang Province, People's Republic of China.

The delegation included Deputy Chairman of the Heilongjiang Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tan Baicheng, Deputy Head of the International Exhibition Development Center of Heilongjiang Province Zhou Bo, Director of the Trade Bureau of Qitaihe City Liu Yun, Chairman of the Haihe City Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jiang Min.

During the meeting, current issues of cooperation between Belarusian and Chinese business circles were discussed, including at the regional level, prospects for the development of traditional areas of cooperation and expanding business partnerships.

The parties also discussed issues of inter-chamber cooperation within the agreement on cooperation between the Vitebsk Branch of the BelCCI and the Heilongjiang Council for the Promotion of International Trade, emphasizing the importance of joint work on exchanging business-related information and actively seeking partners. The possibility of signing a cooperation agreement with the Heilongjiang Committee for International Trade Promotion at the BelCCI central office level was considered, which would allow for direct interaction and prompt resolution of tasks related to bilateral cooperation, including organizing business events and exchanging business missions.

Special attention at the meeting was given to discussing the participation of Belarusian and Chinese enterprises and organizations in exhibition events in both countries. In particular, opportunities and conditions for Belarus to participate as an honorary guest country in the Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair were thoroughly examined, including the format and themes of the fairs in 2024 and 2025, conditions for exhibitors, possible areas of presented products, and other related matters.
