Vietnam is interested in developing cooperation with Belarus.

A constructive dialogue between Nguyen Van Trung, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Belarus, and representatives of domestic enterprises took place at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Belarusian businesses, like Vietnamese businesses, have shown enormous interest in this country, so the purpose of this meeting is to identify concrete areas of common ground.

In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador emphasized the enormous economic potential between Belarus and Vietnam.

"To strengthen and develop cooperation, we are identifying areas where we can be of mutual interest and benefit. At today's meeting, I would very much like to hear proposals fr om Belarusian businesses and identify the strengths of the Belarusian economy wh ere we could collaborate," noted Nguyen Van Trung. The Ambassador also noted that the Embassy intends to organize a visit for Vietnamese entrepreneurs to Belarus and invited Belarusian companies to visit Vietnam to learn about the country's trade and economic potential and establish business ties.

Deputy Chairperson of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Malinovskaya, in turn, noted that a trusting dialogue has been established between Belarus and Vietnam at the highest and highest levels, which contributes to the development of trade and economic relations.

"In May 2025, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam visited the Republic of Belarus, during which a business meeting was held on the development of foreign economic relations, investment, trade, and tourism between Vietnam and Belarus. At the meeting, agreements were reached on expanding bilateral business cooperation, exchanging delegations, and developing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries," said Elena Malinovskaya.
