"Business Breakfast with a Diplomat": Belarusian companies learned about the Saudi Arabian market

On August 25, 2026, the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an online meeting, "Business Breakfast with a Diplomat," with the participation of Igor Georgievich Bely, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE (concurrently accredited to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain). The event was organised as part of the implementation of the 2026 BelCCI Membership Card.

Over 60 representatives of Belarusian companies from various industries attended the meeting. The focus was on the prospects for developing Belarusian-Saudi trade and economic cooperation and practical issues related to Belarusian companies entering the Saudi Arabian market.

Participants discussed promising areas for Belarusian exports, product requirements, certification and labeling, logistics, customs clearance and payments, and the search for potential partners. During the open dialogue, I.G. Bely answered questions from business representatives and presented practical recommendations for establishing business contacts.

The meeting helped raise awareness among Belarusian businesses about the opportunities in the Saudi market, promote domestic products, and expand the geography of Belarusian exports.
