The BelCCI launches a new training program at the Academy of Export

The symbolic first school bell rang for students of the new training program of the Academy of Export, a specialized project of the Business Training Center of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

"Export in a new reality" is the title of a new program, providing senior executives and employees of domestic enterprises and organizations working in various fields related to export promoting with advanced knowledge from representatives of republican government bodies, banks and other export support organizations, experts from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and well-known business trainers.

Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin, Director of the Business Training Center of the BelCCI Elena Khoroshevskaya, as well as teachers came to meet with students of the Export Academy on the opening day.

Welcoming the audience, Denis Meleshkin noted that the Academy of Export has been opening its doors for the sixth year in a row to those who wish to gain professional knowledge in the field of exporting products and services, regardless of the rank and size of their organization. Over this time, the project has turned into a platform for sharing experience. In modern conditions, both personnel and knowledge literally are keys to everything. Therefore, a unique business course has been developed for future specialists in the field of foreign trade, teaching them to promote exports under the new conditions the Belarusian enterprises have to work today.

The program embraces 12 training modules – a kind of 12 steps to knowledge, after completing which in theory and practice managers in the field of foreign trade will be ready to develop their own modern export strategies, taking into account new geopolitical conditions.

"This time there are many flagships of the domestic market among the participants," Elena Khoroshevskaya said. "They are Amkodor, MAZ, MTW, Keramin, Orsha Flax Mill, Rechitsadrev and other large export-oriented companies. Belarus is an export-oriented country, and human resources are now everything. If a specialist has relevant practical skills and knows how to implement them at the enterprise, then the export of goods to all markets will grow."

In total, the Academy of Export program will help its prticipants to gain knowledge about the specifics of choosing sales markets, effective sales management, drawing up foreign trade contracts, their examination, as well as the rules for participation in exhibitions, innovations in the system of intellectual property protection. In practice, situational training blocks will be simulated on making payments for export supplies, logistics, preparing presentations and negotiating with foreign partners.
