31 January 2025

A plan for joint actions in foreign economic affairs in 2025 was signed by the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov at the BelCCI office.

The document includes a number of activities in various areas. Among them are the formation of national exhibitions in foreign countries, holding meetings of heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states in the Republic of Belarus with Belarusian business circles, working with chambers of commerce and industry and business unions of states on different continents, holding seminars on export development issues.

As Maxim Ryzhenkov noted, the signed Joint Action Plan will become a catalyst for the further promotion of Belarusian exports, especially in the markets of the “far arc” countries, where there are high prospects for growth. The Foreign Minister emphasized that this document systematizes approaches to export issues and creates clear algorithms for working with foreign partners. This will provide an opportunity not only to increase export volumes, but also to develop new directions, taking into account changes in the global economy.

In addition, the key areas and forms of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry were discussed at the meeting. The participants focused on the importance of practical steps aimed at strengthening the position of Belarusian exporters in international markets.
