From March 3-7, 2026, the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a business visit to Guangzhou, which once again became the centre of attention for packaging industry professionals thanks to the Sino-Pack/PACKINNO exhibition. This event brought together leading industry players, providing a unique platform for exchanging experiences, discussing the latest technologies, and building business relationships.
One of the key trends at the exhibition was a focus on sustainable packaging. Manufacturers presented solutions based on recycled materials and biodegradable components. This reflects the global trend toward reducing environmental footprints and adhering to environmental standards.
Digitalisation of packaging processes has also become a key focus. Innovative automation solutions, such as intelligent production management systems, significantly improve efficiency and reduce costs. Exhibition participants discussed how the implementation of new technologies can optimise production processes.
Sino-Pack/PACKINNO 2026 provided unique networking opportunities. Business meetings, roundtables, and presentations provided a platform for exchanging ideas and finding partners. Delegates noted the importance of face-to-face meetings in the context of business digitalisation, highlighting the significance of such events. Discussions on emerging trends, sustainable development, and technology adoption opened up new horizons for business. Visitors left with new ideas and contacts, ready to apply their knowledge in their own companies.
This event confirmed that the packaging industry continues to evolve, and market participants must be prepared for change to remain competitive.
During the visit, the companies also had the opportunity to meet with the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Guangzhou. The main objective of the meeting was to familiarise themselves with the region's economic climate and identify potential areas for cooperation.
Open channels for dialogue and cooperation create new opportunities for both countries, promoting economic development and strengthening friendly ties!
