One of the unconditional priorities of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to provide comprehensive assistance to the Belarusian companies in product promotion abroad, foreign economic activity expansion and improvement of its efficiency. A unique educational project implemented by the BelCCI on the basis of the Business Training Center, "School of Export", has been contributing to the fulfillment of these tasks for two years.

The essence of the "School of Export" project is to improve knowledge and skills of companies' managers and specialists, working in the export sector, in any field of activity and facilitate effective and efficient implementation of business plans of any complexity for entering the foreign markets.

Country business seminars aimed at teaching the supply management peculiarities in the context of specific groups of countries, thematic conferences systematizing the basic requirements for the export of goods of certain fields, training at the regional level in the cities of accelerated social and economic development – about 2000 representatives of domestic export-oriented companies took part only in these events of the "School of Export" last year.

Self-named business course, the basis of the "School of Export" project, consists of the thematic modules, each of which is dedicated to a separate stage of the export project implementation. The BelCCI specialists and external experts help to understand in detail the algorithm for export strategy development, organization and improvement of marketing activities when entering the international markets, legal, customs and logistics nuances of export contract securing, as well as the cross-cultural features of business communication with partners from different countries. Training has been carried out within two business courses for about 200 managers and specialists of the Belarusian companies – from industrial giants to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs .

The key to success of the multi-level "School of Export" project lies in the fact that the BelCCI relies on the applied knowledge, which subsequently helps the enterprises to strengthen positions, diversify supplies and find new target markets when forming the course program. In addition, the quality of education is determined by the professionalism and experience of the teachers. Students are taught not by the theorists, but by successful management experts. Well-known business trainers, experts with rich practical experience, managers of large-scale projects owning modern teaching methods are among them. The combination of these factors, as well as the high appraisal of the project by the students, allowed us to conclude that the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is able to set up its own business training system in the field of foreign economic activity and establish the "Academy of Export" on the basis of the "School of Export". This idea is included in the BelCCI Strategic Plan 2023.

In striving to achieve this goal, the Chamber has been expanding the scope of educational programs since 2020. During the third business course of the "School of Export", which will be started in September, the following three additional modules will be added to the main modules covering the topics in marketing, logistics, customs procedures, tax issues, finance and communications: "Presentation and public speaking skills", "Modern forms of sales management" and "Effective participation in exhibitions". The topics were chosen after a thorough study of the requests of the organizations – members of the BelCCI that apply for educational services. Thus, the new business course will provide an even more complete set of knowledge in the export project implementation field and allow the participants to increase the efficiency of all areas of work in entering the foreign markets.

Another innovation in the business training system within the framework of the BelCCI, a special field of activity of the Business Training Center, will be the implementation of the advanced training programs for managers and specialists with the issuance of a State Certificate.

A special permit (license) for the right to carry out educational activities in the advanced training field was issued to the Business Training Center of the BelCCI on July 25, 2019. The document confirmed the right of the enterprise to implement advanced training programs for managers and specialists of enterprises and organizations in the "Communications. Law. Economics. Management. Economics and production management" educational specialization, "Communications", "Law", "Economics", "Management", "Economics and production management" fields of education; "Physical education. Tourism and Hospitality" educational specialization, "Tourism and Hospitality" field of education.

On June 4 this year, the Business Training Center of the BelCCI completed the state accreditation procedure, following which the Center was granted the right to carry out educational activities in the abovementioned educational specializations and fields of education in accordance with the law and received the corresponding certificate of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. This allows expanding the range of educational services provided by the Business Training Center. In addition to the holding of traditional seminars and trainings, the enterprise will provide training in practice-oriented, efficient advanced training programs, the implementation of which will start at the beginning of the new academic year.

The BelCCI and the Business Training Center invite representatives of the companies and organizations of all ownership forms to become students of the business course and advanced training programs. Let's establish the "Academy of Export" together!

Being established in 2002, the Business Training Center of the BelCCI is known as an organization having the extensive experience in the business training field. Over the years, more than 10,000 specialists from various services of Belarusian enterprises have become the participants in educational events (conferences, seminars, trainings). The Business Training Center has developed training programs for managers and specialists of the enterprises and organizations of various activity fields aimed at improving knowledge and skills in all areas of economics and management: from finance to effective communication with foreign partners.
